Sheena Bhattessa, founder of Its PR has a background in lifestyle PR & Marketing, Film and Journalism. Having worked in some of London’s leading lifestyle PR agencies and lived in London, New York and Mumbai, she has consistently worked with a range of clients including Virgin Media, Absolut Vodka, A curious group of hotels and Ashok Amritraj. This is complemented by her strong writing skills having written for lifestyle publications. Since beginning in PR at the age of 21, her dedication and passion for PR has grown and her widespread contact base has gone from strength to strength not only in the UK but also across Europe, Asia and the USA.
Sheena and Debbie Schogger met whilst pitching for the same client, where they found their perfect match. Debbie, an experienced PR professional began by interning at some of London’s most sought after consumer and fashion PR agencies. Her keen interest in learning the industry resulted in working for two London Fashion Week seasons. Debbie later landed a job in London’s biggest digital media agency, working on multinational brands such as Cadburys, Virgin Atlantic and Norwich Union. A drive to succeed in new markets forced her to leave digital PR and head for the luxury lifestyle sector. She quickly became a strong member of the PR family and it is her commitment to the agency, clients and journalists, which has got her where she is today. PR is not a job for Debbie, it is a part of her life.
Both Sheena & Debbie found a lack of existing creativity to be a problem among larger agencies, with less time would be spent on smaller clients with lower budgets. And so, Its PR was born, bringing innovative ideas to any sized firm, never losing sight of the end target. With a range of contacts stretching across media and ethnic sectors in the UK and abroad, brands can access all audiences as well as grow the appetites of previously infiltrated markets.
The objective is to provide a personalized and tailored service to clients, creating an invaluable link with the media. Its PR believes strongly in the power of a carefully and well-executed communications programme to change or reinforce opinions and increase sales. We balance creative energy and strong writing skills with practicality.
